All the good intentions in the world are useless if there are no actions to back it up. We say save the environment, but we are doing nothing to actually help save it.

The problem with most activities is that once the people have finished the event, they don’t return to check the area if what they’ve done has actually helped or have done more harm than good. Legend has it that slaves got revenge on their cruel masters by pushing the boats they used over the waterfalls, hence the name Tinuy-an Falls (or Tinuyu-an; a native vernacular which means “intentional act to achieve an objective”). This multi-tiered waterfall is touted to be the “Little Niagara of the Philippines”, and said to be the widest in the Philippines at 95 meters wide, and 55 meters high.
